Admission Requirement


Requirements for Bachelors in Eastern Medicine & Surgery (BEMS):
  • Candidate should have 12 years of education.
  • Candidates should have intermediate degree from recognized college or university.
  • Foreign students must route their applications through the Ministry of Education, Government of Pakistan.
  • Admission will be made on merit, subject to the regional quota.

Bachelors in Eastern Medicine & Surgery (BEMS)

Bachelors in Eastern Medicine & Surgery (BEMS) program produces highly skilled doctors capable of meeting future challenges in a wide variety of careers. The program emphasizes problem-based learning and group work. Students work cooperatively on a carefully planned series of patient-centered problems, each designed to highlight principles and issues in health and disease.
They learn of basic, clinical, biological and social sciences; the improved teaching of communication skills; the use of learning approaches that encourage lifelong learning skills; the incorporation of ethics and professional development as an integral part of the program; and the incorporation of information technology and computing skills to ensure that graduates are able to utilize technological advances to improve their learning skills and knowledge acquisition.
